How Bwanjai Veterans Football Club began.
Founded in 2019 by sons of Bwanjai Ward living outside their home ward, BVFC was born from one idea: football is the bridge that brings us back to each other.
Bwanjai Veterans Football Club (BVFC) was officially founded by sports stakeholders who shared a common vision: to use football as a way to bring Bwanjai people together, build their physical and mental health, and grow brotherhood and community spirit among themselves.
"Michezo ni Ajira"
โ Sport is opportunity. Sport is purpose.
Today, BVFC is home to 24 active members and operates as a registered community sports organization headquartered in Bwanjai, within Missenyi District, Kagera Region, Tanzania. The club is governed by a written constitution adopted in 2022.
